The Bank Hotel Istanbul, a Member of Design Hotels

A historical building in a quaint part of town close to the bridge leading to the horn, as well as galata. The decor is tasteful and attention to detail is immaculate. Staff are extremely accommodating. Very clean rooms and hotel.

Stay away from the ground and first floor ¿ while the rooms are nice, the overlook the sloping road with no view and little fresh air. Not worth the price. Also given the old building, you can hear everything in the corridor.

Shower did not drain well. Maid skipped water and soap refil one of the days.

The rooftop lounge has a great view of the city and Bosperus, and it has excellent food. Our room was bit, the bathroom was huge and full of marble. There even was a large walk-in closet.

Our keycard stopped working three times. But the staff was quick to fix it. It was unclear when the rooftop lounge was open.

Everything was nice. Except for the spa the lady who did my reflexology massage wasn’t that good and finished a few minutes earlier!!

Location was perfect. We loved the hotel’s outdoor kitty. We enjoyed the rooftop garden. Your staff was very kind and helpful.

Quite noisy at night; so you couldn’t sleep with the window open.

Amazing location! Walkable to restaurants if you ever leave, or the restaurant there is fantastic! Breakfast was distinct and on entirely other level!

Honestly nothing! The staff handled parking the rental car and everything was smooth and peaceful!!

The staff were attentive, the rooftop bar had an amazing view of the Bosphorus, the restaurant was excellent, turn down service was unexpected.

We didn't include breakfast in our reservation, and the breakfast bar was average and very expensive to pay individually. We're not big breakfast eaters, but paying 20£ for coffee and oatmeal was way over-priced. There was no option for a la carte breakfast.

Location was ok. Rooms very well cleaned and kept. Complimentary water bottle daily.

Spa was no more than a 3star. Hard to sleep with the quality of the bed linens should definitely be of better quality. Not a 5star in service either. Overall between a 3-4star.

Loved the history of the building, the beautiful interior design, the service, the staff and attention to detail and of course, the location was perfect for everything we wished to experience in Istanbul

Would have been good to have a 1 pager on nearest convenience store, reatrarany district, metro stations etc would have been helpful. But staff always willing to help.

Location

There were mosquitoes in the room, the hotel did their best to remedy this, but it took a long time to get the room cleaned, had to state several times. Also I requested late check out which was only until 2pm, given the fact I lost an entire night’s sleep due to the mosquitoes,I was hoping they could have been more accommodating.

Beautifully designed rooms with thoughtful details, attentive staff and a fabulous roof top bar.

Service in the roof top bar a little slow.
